FAQs

How does buying direct help authors?

If you buy directly from my store, I'll get paid right away, and I'll get to keep 95% of the list price (instead of 35-70%, which is standard for retailers). Buying directly from the author decreases our dependence on the big retail stores, and we can offer deeper discounts because there isn't a middleman taking a cut.

How long will it take for my physical book to be delivered?

It depends where you live, and which shipping option you choose at checkout. Unfortunately, it won't be next day shipping. Average shipping times are as follows:

To USA: 5 to 7 working days

To Canada: 7 to 10 working days

To UK: 1 to 3 days

To elsewhere in Europe: 3 to 5 working days

To Australia: varies

You will be able to view tracking information through the link on the email you get after purchase.

Are signed books an option?

Yes! Please order your physical book. You can then order the signed bookplate option for a nominal fee. We will post this out to you to stick into your physical book. If we have any book swag, we may pop one of these in the envelope too as a thank you for being a star.

What is literary fiction?

Literary fiction tends to be set in the real world. It emphasises character and theme over plot. It doesn’t have to have a happy ending, although sometimes it does. Nillu Nasser’s literary fiction stories often take place in rich settings and explore the search for identity from an outsider’s perspective.

What is paranormal women’s fiction?

PWF is a cross of urban fantasy, mystery and women’s fiction, in which middle-aged women discover they have magic and kick arse. N. Z. Nasser's PWF stories are atmospheric and magical, with a dash of humour, found family and a romance sub-plot. The stories are mid-level heat, with usually one open door, short sex scene in each novel.
